INTERNATIONAL PEDAGOGICAL EXPERIENCE AS A TOOL FOR MODERNIZING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF RUSSIA

Abstract (English):
Increasing the level of public confidence in the police, modern requirements for increased efficiency and optimization of law enforcement activities to ensure law and order and public safety associated with qualitative changes in crime, the use of innovative technologies in the functioning of the law enforcement sphere, digital transformation of society, digitalization of education, changes in legislation and other pressing factors necessitate reforming the domestic system of professional education of police officers, scientific support for methodological and professional-moral training to form basic theoretical knowledge, professional and general cultural competencies necessary for the assimilation of young personnel in the professional environment and successful inclusion in practical service. Foreign systems of professional training of police personnel are also in the process of modernization. Since the tasks and functions of the police in our country and abroad have not only differences, but also significant similarities in terms of the goals, methods and forms of functioning of training and advanced training system, it is advisable to use the positive scientific and practical experience of police education concepts in foreign countries. The article substantiates the methodological foundations of comparative pedagogical study and use of international experience in police educational activities. The conclusion is proposed that the study and implementation of fruitful international experience should be approached meaningfully, rationally, introducing effective innovative pedagogical technologies, effective concepts and innovative approaches to teaching.
