The study is devoted to the analysis of the features of preventing juvenile delinquency. The introductory part indicates the relevance of the chosen topic, based on the information provided, including the results of sociological research. The content of the work is the consideration of individual preventive measures used by the prevention entities. The study analyzes statistical indicators of the activities of the inspector staff of the juvenile affairs units of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for teenagers and parents under control. The final part of the article summarizes the results and formulates conclusions with a proposal to improve law enforcement activities.
