THE VALUE-LEGAL CORE OF THE STATE AND SOCIETY: CONCEPT, FEATURES AND PRINCIPLES
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The relevance of the study is driven by the need to conceptualize the stable foundations of the legal and political life of multinational Russian society in conditions of contemporary geopolitical challenges and value transformations. The problem lies in the absence of a term in the categorical framework of the theory of state and law that adequately describes the constant value-legal foundation determining civilizational identity and societal responses to change. The concept of the “value-legal core of the state and society” has been developed and introduced into scholarly discourse. A set of its specific features, which distinguish it from related categories, has been identified and described. The principles constituting the internal essence of the phenomenon have been formulated and elaborated upon. Finally, a definition of the value-legal core of the state and society is proposed. The concept of the value-legal core provides a new theoretical toolkit for the systemic analysis and forecasting of socio-political and legal processes. It establishes a foundation for consolidating society and developing consistent state policy synchronized with the fundamental values of Russian civilization.
