The article discusses the possibilities of applying microlearning when police officers study a foreign language. By microlearning the authors mean an approach that breaks down large amounts of information into smaller and more engaging pieces, allowing adults and busy individuals to learn at their own pace and convenience. The article analyzes the key advantages and some disadvantages of this approach. Based on their own teaching experience, the authors provide examples of using various methods and tools for teaching foreign languages that can be integrated within the microlearning approach. The article emphasizes the need to comply with the basic principles of language education when implementing innovative methods and approaches. It is concluded that, with appropriate methodological support and proper organization, microlearning can enhance the process of learning a foreign language by police officers.
