Studies of the linguistic consciousness of people of a certain profession are based on the construction of associative fields of concepts related to their professional activity. To identify common (for one professional group) and specific characteristics of associative fields of the same concepts, it is advisable to use psycholinguistic techniques, including an associative experiment. The task of establishing universal (supranational) components that are activated in the linguistic consciousness of representatives of one profession – speakers of different languages – is relevant. This article presents models of concepts on the basis of associative fields reconstructed according to the results of free associative experiment with representatives of the police profession – native speakers of French, Portuguese and Russian. The following terms and termrelated linguistic signs were used as stimulus words: law, policeman, punishment.
