Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents the results of a study of the motives for admission to educational institutions of the EMERCOM of Russia and their transformation in cadets during the training period. The motives identified among the applicants for choosing a profession allow us to develop measures aimed at improving the competitiveness of the university of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and attracting the most motivated applicants to enter. In general, it can be noted that applicants entering the university of the Ministry of Emergency Situations make a conscious choice, show a serious attitude to training and are overwhelmingly proud of the results of their admission. The obtained results of the transformation of motives indicate their development for the final year in a pragmatic socio-economic direction, which requires, among other things, the develop ment of additional educational activities aimed at improving the level of professional orientation of graduates and the formation of their professionally significant qualities.
