The currently noted process of reforming civil legislation, affecting literally all areas of application of civil law, has not paid due attention to carsharing, which creates serious problems in this area. Therefore, the relevance of the topic is due to the difficulties in understanding the nature of the concluded car sharing agreement and the lack of its regulatory regulation at the federal level. The article highlights the problematic aspects of the legal nature of the car sharing agreement: the publication of information by the owner of the aggregator, the calculation of the lease term, the lack of a unified register of car sharing companies and unscrupulous tenant clients, the establishment of restrictions for concluding an agreement. It is argued that the development of legislative provisions governing car sharing relations will eliminate many problematic situations and provide their participants with the opportunity to ensure the protection of legitimate rights and interests.
