FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS OF SCIENTIFIC IDEAS ABOUT THE IDENTIFICATION OF A PERSON IN OPERATIONAL-SEARCH ACTIVITIES

Abstract (English):
The article analyzes the historical process of development and formation of scientific ideas about the identification of a person as an operational-search measure. The authors identified and considered several historical stages in the formation and development of scientific knowledge about this measure. The criterion for periodization was the change of scientific theories, within which the patterns of personality identification in the process of solving crimes were studied. The promising areas of research of operational-search measure, which include the development and justification of a system of theoretical provisions regarding the identification of a person by group affiliation; the search for new ways to use technologies for automated identification of a person.
