COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS OF THE OPERATIONAL SITUATION IN CRIMINOLOGICAL FORECASTING

Abstract (English):
The article deals with the issues of complex analysis and assessment of the operational situation as an important element of criminological forecasting. It notes that a comprehensive analysis of the operational situation allows to make the necessary choice and concentrate efforts on the main areas of crime prevention. The paper draws attention to the factors of formation, operating conditions and types of operational environment. The levels of complication of the operational situation and measures to stabilize it are considered. It is noted that the establishment of specific features of the formation of the operational situation is especially relevant in the context of the growth of crime associated with the multiple increase in the number of crimes committed using information and telecommunications networks, and allows us to determine the possible development of the criminological situation, adjusting the processes of countering crime in order to keep it within socially acceptable boundaries.
