Legal and organizational measures of the territorial bodies of Internal Affairs on decriminalization of the forest industry (using the example of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Buryatia)

Abstract (English):
The article using the example of the Republic of Buryatia touches upon topical issues of the activities of territorial internal affairs bodies to combat crimes in the forest industry. The author described the current state of the operational situation in the field of forest management in the region. Based on the analysis, he formulated the priority areas of activity of the territorial bodies of internal affairs, as well as considered the main organizational and managerial measures that affect the effectiveness of the work of internal affairs bodies in decriminalizing the forestry sector. Special attention is paid to the study of the positive practice of interaction between law enforcement and supervisory bodies in countering this type of crime.
