The scientific article substantiates that it is important to extremely increase the efficiency of coordination of the activities of district police officers and employees of the penal inspections of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in order to ensure the high-quality implementation of the necessary preventive measures and taking timely measures if convicted persons violate the duties and prohibitions imposed on them by court when imposing a non-custodial sentence. The main conclusions have been drawn: a) the question of whether the number of violations of the order of serving a suspended sentence should include those for which certain measures of influence have previously been applied to the convicted person. The author thinks that any violations of the procedure for serving a suspended sentence by a convicted person, regardless of whether any measures of influence were applied to them for these violations or not, should be taken into account when deciding whether there is a sign of systematic violations; b) employees of penal inspections are faced with the problem of determining what exactly is the basis for canceling a suspended sentence, as the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation contains an open list of those responsibilities that can be imposed to a person when assigning him a suspended sentence. We believe that the list of duties that court can impose should be made comprehensive, excluding the possibility of imposing duties on the convicted person other than those listed in Part 5 of Art. 73 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
