Abstract (English):
The article presents a study aimed at studying the process of forming professional competencies among students from among the police officers who carry out activities to protect public order on the streets and in other public places. The experiment was carried out with the introduction in the course of training of practical model-situations that allow students to be completely immersed in an environment close to real. The subject of the study was the practical aspects of modeling situations of operational activities in the educational process of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
