The functioning of the information technology “electronic (computer) 3D modeling” in criminal proceedings is investigated. The result of such technology as “electronic 3D model” is very important in criminal procedural proving. The creation of an electronic 3D model of evidence and (or) its individual elements makes it possible to classify evidence that may contain an electronic 3D model in the process of collecting evidence in criminal procedural evidence. In addition, the specific properties of evidence are highlighted and transformed in whole or in part by an electronic 3D model. The possibilities of using such model in criminal procedural proving and some essential procedural actions are listed.
