The article substantiates the need for harmonization and unification of environmental requirements (standards, criteria) in the field of public (municipal) procurement, including for departmental needs of the Russian Interior Ministry system. The authors consistently reveal the impact of environmentalization on the regulation of public procurement on the example of contractual works for the needs of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs system. At present, the environmental characteristics of the subject of a government contractare mainly established by special bylaws, while the legislative acts only mention them, but do not disclose them. The authors state the need to intensify lawmaking activities to specify the limits and rules of application of environmental norms in the field of regulation of state (municipal) procurement, environmental requirements to the objects of procurement - subjects of state (municipal) contracts, taking into account the sphere of activity (competence, powers, functions) of the state (municipal) customer. Separate proposals are made for the regulation of green procurement for departmental needs of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs system.
