The article examines the issues of interaction between district police officers and minors, and suggests ways to solve them. To increase the effectiveness of interaction, it is necessary to strengthen work with youth and develop new methods of working with minors, creating conditions for establishing trusting relationships between the district police officer and minors. The study used data from a survey conducted among minors and district police officers, as well as methods of statistical data analysis. The results of the study showed that minors distrust district police officers and are not always ready to seek help in case of conflicts. It was also revealed that district police officers experience difficulties in building trusting relationships with teenagers.
