Currently, the features of the professional police text have not yet been fully explored in the aspect of analytical work with it in the academic discipline “Foreign Language” (English). It is important to consider its linguistic and cultural features of analysis, since professionally determined information doesn’t exist in such texts in isolation, but is inscribed into an objectively existing legal reality associated with the activities of law enforcement officers of the countries of the studied language, considering professional and geopolitical, cultural and socio-historical realities existing within this country, due not only to the way of thinking of English native speakers but also their professional and linguistic worldview, mentality, historical events, traditions and lifestyle. It is necessary to classify the linguistic and cultural features of analytical work with a professional police text, which must be correctly understood and interpreted. This will bring the descriptive analysis of a professional police text to a more detailed level of research and educational activity.
