The article highlights the issue of the optimization process of training professionally oriented texts’ reading in the specialty 38.05.01 Economic security by integration elements of the problem-based teaching in the traditional methodology of foreign languages teaching. The use of creative technologies ensures the development of the creative abilities of future specialists, which is especially important due to the growing share of intellectual labor and creative solutions in all areas of professional activity. Solving problematic speech situations in the process of learning to read will help to form skills and abilities of independent search for knowledge, language readiness for communication in a foreign language in situations of real communication. The implementation of personal orientation of communication in the process of solving problem taskswill allow students to openly express and defend their opinions, make assumptions and make guesses based on both context and for individual experience. The authors presented and described some techniques for implementing this approach in foreign language practical classes in the educational institution of the Ministry of the Interior. It is concluded that the purposeful application of the methodology when working with authentic professionally oriented texts, taking into account the principle of problem-based learning in practical classes in a foreign language, leads to the development of all linguistic aspects.
