Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of changing the phenomenon of terrorism in the modern information and digital society. The fourth scientific and technological revolution has changed not only modern technologies, it has virtualized the spatial and temporal characteristics of the world, creating a society of digital globalism, whose main resource - information - has turned into a simulacrum, practically not subject to verification. In modern conditions of increasingly virtualizing reality and unprecedented strengthening of its influence on the consciousness of social subjects, up to their programming, the need for special study of information and digital manipulation of people in order to counteract this is actualized. It is especially important to protect from destruction the inexperienced consciousness of young people and adolescents, the least protected from information fakes. Terrorism, transforming itself, uses modern marketing technologies to push young people to the behavior necessary for manipulators, not so much by instilling fear, as by convincing them of the benefits of such actions. It is especially difficult for young people to cope with such a temptation in virtual cyberspace. The article reveals the problems and the ways to counteract them.
