Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to the study of the state of legislation in the field of countering cyber threats of various types – from Internet fraud to cyber warfare. An overview of cyber risks in modern society over the past few years is given, and the effectiveness of both already adopted and newly developed legislative decisions in the field of digital relationships and combating cyber threats is analyzed. Based on the analysis of the enforcement of relevant federal laws, the author has developed his own proposals for further improvement of the relevant area of law, and concluded that it is necessary and inevitable to develop and adopt a Digital (Information) Code of the Russian Federation in the foreseeable future.
