In his work, the author explores the features of sexual crimes against minors committed on the Internet. The author shows that crimes of this category have a grand scale and require an immediate response from law enforcement agencies. The conducted research convincingly shows that sexual abuse of children in the digital environment is a transnational problem affecting almost all states. Minors, being the most active users of digital technologies, are becoming a priority target for sexual offenders. The alarming trend indicates a steady increase in incidents of sexual harassment of children in the virtual space.
