The article is devoted to such an urgent problem as migration processes. The subject of research in the work is a set of scientific papers, regulatory legal acts regulating the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the territory of the Russian Federation, and public relations arising during the implementation of the rules of stay on the territory of the Russian Federation by foreign citizens and stateless persons. The article examines the social relations that arise during the implementation of the rules of stay on the territory of the Russian Federation by foreign citizens and stateless persons. Given the fact that a large number of subjects fall under the definition of migration policy, this area requires close attention. This is important because each State has a limited number of resources with which it can ensure the lives of its citizens. The article pays special attention to the issues of the activities of subjects of migration policy,represented at various levels, including the activities of law enforcement agencies, their role in the system of control and supervision of migration. Due to the danger of uncontrolled migration, this topic remains as relevant as possible at the current stage of development of the Russian Federation. The practical significance of this topic lies in the fact that the studied material can be used as a basis for improving this nstitution, including becoming the basis for the formation of legislative initiatives to improve the activities of law enforcement agencies in the field of migration policy.
