Modern trends in physical education are based on a new pedagogical paradigm, which is based on the principles of a scarce and advanced approach, the principle of applicability, taking into account the forecasting of professional activity and career growth, the principle of informatization and digitalization, a high level of self-education. Modern youth studying in educational institutions, including the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, differs in many ways from their predecessors. They have a different perception of educational information, their incentives for learning are formed under the influence of easily accessible and vivid content. Also, modern scientific data and methodological principles of physical education have undergone significant changes, the system of development and improvement of physical qualities has changed radically. A small amount of fundamental changes that have occurred in the field of education and physical training is listed here, that is enough to determine the relevance of the search for new, alternative methods of education and physical training in particular.
